The location, the service, the valume proposition - are/were all perfect at the Hard Rock Hotel. The room was spacious and even enabled business meetings to be held as there was a convenient divider so that the seated area could be used for that purpose.

We went there to attend an event at the San Diego Convention center, this is a perfect location as it is just a few minutes walking distance from hotel to the center. Many nice bars and restaurants nearby. You would be fine if you just want to stay in the hotel, as they also have good bars and restaurants, fitness center, and I an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi. The staff were nice and helpful, clean hotel overall. One star off because they used to have a spa and steam room, all gone now

The water is cold. I reported to the front desk - they did not fix it. The room is not clean enough - I saw a pant on the ground when I enter my room.
